Usage data
- SMTP access logs (date, time, IP, camera email)
- Email subjects and metadata (not content)
- Number of photos received
- Payment transactions (processed by Netopia — we do not store card data)
Camera images
Photos sent by your trail camera are stored temporarily on our servers for display in the gallery. They are associated with your account and are accessible only by you. Photos are automatically deleted after 90 days or when you delete them manually.
3. Legal basis for processing
- Contract execution (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — for account management and service delivery
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for security and fraud prevention
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — for financial records retention
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for marketing communications (if opted in)
4. Data retention
- Account data: kept for the duration of the contract + 3 years
- SMTP logs: 90 days rolling
- Camera photos: 90 days or until manually deleted
- Financial records: 10 years (legal requirement)
- Data after account deletion: anonymized within 30 days

6. Data security
- All connections use TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS)
- SMTP passwords are stored encrypted
- Database access is restricted to authorized personnel only
- Regular security backups
- Server located in the European Union
7. Third parties
We use the following third-party processors:
- Netopia Payments — payment processing (card data never reaches our servers)
- Hestia Control Panel — mail server management
- Telegram (optional) — photo notifications if enabled by user

If you believe your data rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP):
